If you join our creator network, our Pear Creator Data Terms explain in more detail how we use creator information.
What we collect
When you fill in a form on this site
- Brand enquiries: your name, email address, company name, industry, website, phone number, and Instagram and TikTok handles.
- Creator sign-ups: your name, email address, website, phone number, Instagram and TikTok handles, and your content niche.
When you book a call
Our booking calendar is provided by Calendly. When you book, Calendly collects your name, email address and any answers you give, and shares them with us.
When you visit the site
- Without your consent, we count visits using PostHog in cookieless mode. Nothing is stored on your device. PostHog creates a temporary, anonymised identifier from your IP address and browser details that resets daily. We see pages viewed, how you arrived (for example a search engine or a link) and general device and location information. We have set PostHog to discard IP addresses.
- If you click Accept on our cookie banner, we also use cookies from PostHog and HubSpot. These let us recognise return visits, record anonymised session replays of how the site is used (form inputs are masked) and link your visits to any enquiry you send us.
How we use it and our lawful basis
- Replying to brand enquiries and discussing our services: Legitimate interests (responding to a business enquiry), or steps before entering a contract
- Adding creators to our network and matching them with brand campaigns: Consent, given when you tick the box on the creator form
- Counting visits without cookies, to understand which pages work: Legitimate interests (running and improving our website)
- Analytics and marketing cookies: Consent, given through the cookie banner
- Keeping business records: Legal obligation
We do not sell your personal information.
Who we share it with
We use these service providers to run the site and our business. They process data on our behalf and under contract:
- Webflow: website hosting and form submissions
- Cloudflare: website security and delivery
- HubSpot (EU data centre): customer relationship management, and tracking cookies if you accept them
- PostHog (EU Cloud): website analytics
- Calendly: meeting booking
Some of these providers, or their sub-processors, may process data outside the UK. Where they do, the transfer is protected by safeguards recognised under UK law, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
If you are a creator, we share your profile with brands when we put you forward for a campaign, as set out in the Pear Creator Data Terms.
How long we keep it
- Brand enquiries that do not become clients: 2 years from our last contact
- Client records: 6 years after the end of the contract, for tax and legal purposes
- Creator network data: as set out in the Pear Creator Data Terms
- Website analytics data: 2 years. Session replays are kept for 30 days.
